Red-shouldered Hawk at Hilton, NY There were many more hawks this morning than there have been. Looks like some early migrants!

It certainly is feeling like Fall, maybe even winter in upstate NY! Lots of birds hopping around, sparrows have increased in the past days.
A lot of bird activity this morning. Nothing extremely interesting, but a lot of movement in the bushes and trees!

The hawks are really starting to move through. Almost 2000 RTHA's at Braddock Bay Hawkwatch yesterday!

@kingfisher It sounds like an Accipiter if it was quick. Probably a Sharpie or Cooper's.

@kingfisher It would probably be Cooper's Hawk. How big was the hawk in comparison to the kingfisher?
